The PAS open frame pump systems consist of a highly efficient diaphragm pump with a semi-open impeller and a large separator. Air is separated from the liquid and sucked by the vacuum pump, making automatic and efficient priming possible. Units are designed to pump up to 8,500 US GPM. Even with suction heights of multiple feet, the PAS pump rapidly evacuates the air from the suction pipe and starts to pump. The semi-open impeller makes the range suitable for pumping liquids with solids in the suspension and the high efficiency hydraulic end guarantees low fuel consumption.

The PAS range of fully automatic self-priming centrifugal pumps are considered the ideal solution for transporting or raising water with abrasive solids in suspension. They are used across multiple industries including construction and mine site dewatering, floodwater, stream diversions and municipal applications. They can work with water that is clean or dirty as well as handle trash and fibrous materials. They have excellent solids handling capability, thanks to features such as semi-open impellers and abrasion-resistant pump casings.
